The first one was OK, but it kept eating up batteries like crazy, so I went looking for a rechargable model. Well I found this one and LOVE it!!It's got more tweezer discs than the other one and it removes hair more quickly. Hold a charge for a nice long time and recharges fairly quickly. I'm guessing the Emagine is probably a lot faster because it has double the number of tweezers. But Like the title says, the Caress is definitely a good epilator for starters, just so you can get use to epilating your hair. I mean, it hurts more if you epilate more hair all at once than just 4-5 at a time, but of course it will take longer so you'll feel a lower pain level for a longer period of time because of the amount of time you will need to epilate all the hair you want to remove. It definitely tweezes out the hair, and because it is rotating so fast, the hair doesn't snap like when you are using a regular tweezer.
